While working on this invitation, I listened intensively to a reading of F. Scott Fitzgerald's, The Beautiful and Damned – an unhappy story of a brittle couple – a strange choice, retrospectively, for the 'occasion'. I can't unreservedly recommend the novel, although there are great parts to it, but I can highly recommend pairing a project with an audio book.
